Hello Anne my name is Ernest I have just installed your Winchester Responsive template on a fresh install of 1.5.4 with no mods accept ckeditor because I am a newbie. Now everything has gone smoothly until 1. I tried to get Capital letters to display for the Tag Line and 2. trying to get a picture to load in the banner carousel the place holder is there but no pic I have followed your readme file in the download to the letter. My site is http://www.g-linehobbies.com I will take it out of maintenance so you have access. your help is greatly needed. Thank You P.S. I have read every post in this thread over the past to days I would like to know where your extra instruction files are.

Uppercase:

In includes/templates/winc.../css/style sheet

Look for line:

#tagline {margin:0;color:#903734;font-size:1.2em;text-align:left;text-transform:lowercase;clear:both;margin-left:15px;float:left}

Remove

text-transform:lowercase;

In the stylesheet.css file change the text-transform:uppercase; to text-transform:none; for #tagline


My guess is that you do not have the correct banner group assigned to the banner.

Hi Anne the banner group that is being used is the same one pointed to in your documentation picture, what I am asking is what the correct path for upload of my banner image is and I am using a jpeg is this allowed

Hello,

I want to turn on the left column on the home page of the Winchester Responsive template, just as it is on other pages. The left column is turned off on the home page by an override. Where's that override, and how do I remove it? (And then I'll put the categories list in that column.)

Also (and probably related) I want to reduce the size of the home page slide show so that the categories listing in the left column is up beside it. (It's a long list of categories.)

Any suggestions appreciated.

Second question...

How do I turn off the Categories > Information > Contact links in the header? Breadcrumbs status doesn't affect those three links.
