Problem with Search in header on The Bookshelf template

Hi.

I have just switched on the Search Header in Admin using the Bookshelf Template on v1.51.

Firstly I had the setting as Left and it truncates the search button to "Searc". I changed the setting to Right but it stays on the left with the same truncation.

Finally I switched off Left/Right and turned on Single column and it's still the same.

Has anyone else experienced this and if so, how did you get around it?

Okay I figured out how to get around the truncation. You have to switch CSS Buttons on in Layout Settings but the Right positioning setting still doesn't work.

Yes I just realised this. I played around a bit and came up with this solution:

In Admin --> Configuration set CSS Buttons to Yes

In catalog/includes/templates/bookshelf/css/stylesheet.css

Find:

#navMainSearch, #navCategoryIcon, .buttonRow, #indexProductListCatDescription {
margin: 0.5em;
}

and replace it with:

#navMainSearch {
float:right;
}

#navCategoryIcon, .buttonRow, #indexProductListCatDescription {
margin: 0.5em;
}
