Westminster New

Hello I am using vs 1.5.5e with Westminster New and am trying to copy more of the "homead1,2,3"on the home page. I saw this:

In the middle of the home page there are three homeads. Is there a way to add more of these?
You can add more in includes/languages/english/html_includes/westminster_new/define_main_page.php. If you want them to be editable via the banner manager you will have to create new banner groups.

I have copied and pasted the php code and changed the "homead1" to my new "homead4". My test site is http://www.karendonleavy.technicalcomputer.com/

What am I missing?

The homeads are now Cookie Jar, Serving Bowl and Serving Plater.

I wish I could be of some help Tom. I had the same question and I tried different things but I have very limited knowledge on these things. I ended up emailing the author of this template and paying her to add a fourth banner. My site ( ma ynar ds tackl e.c om). You can see a fourth on added.
I would like to know in detail the steps it would take to add another banner and do it myself. I do enjoy knowing these thing rather than having someone do it for me.

If I remember well, you should add display: none; to stylesheet.css
and then play with the CSS for mobile/tablet.
If not, give us your website url.

Hi all,

Just upgraded a site from ZC 1.5.1 to 1.5.5e

The site owner alerted me that the search box in the header is showing in all browsers (Firefox, Safari, Opera) but it will not show in Chrome. Checked it on my box on Chrome and yes, they are right. Only the 'Go' button shows, but not the search box.

The site is unisonics [dot] com [dot] au

Would be grateful if someone can throw a light on this.

Here is a light:
If you turn off the background from tylesheet.css line #324 you will see the search box.

That didn't (and couldn't) work as it killed the entire background of the nav bar.

So, when I first designed the new layout in this template I had to move

from includes/templates/westminster_new/common/tpl_header.php to includes/templates/westminster_new/templates/tpl_modules_mobile_categories_tabs.php just before <script src="...... so it looked like this:

<div id="navMainSearch">

    <?php require(DIR_WS_MODULES . 'sideboxes/search_header.php'); ?>
    
</div>

That worked fine in all browsers but not in Chrome. So I just changed the above to

<div id="navMainSearch">

    <?php require(DIR_WS_MODULES . 'sideboxes/search_header.php'); ?>
    
</div>
<div class="clearBoth"></div>

and Bingo! - all fixed, thanks.
