USPS Module - how to shorten the ship method string

Hi,

The string that gets stored in the database for a USPS shipping order looks like the following:

United States Postal Service (0.54lbs) (First-Class Mail Parcel (2 - 5 days)):

I need to shorten this string. Ideally it would just say "USPS (0.54)(First-Class Main..."

The problem is that when I import this order to Shipworks for mail processing, the requested shipping string is truncated, and for Express Mail, it's truncated before the word "Express" shows up in the string. As in "United States Postal Service (0.54lbs)(Priority Mail Express International...". I can't see the "Express" part in my shipping software.

Anyone know how I can shorten that string?

It would be nice if there was an option in the settings for this. In case anyone wants to bloat the code a bit more. :)

You could change the language file define from:

define('MODULE_SHIPPING_USPS_TEXT_TITLE', 'United States Postal Service');

to read:

define('MODULE_SHIPPING_USPS_TEXT_TITLE', 'USPS');
