Short product description in category page

Hi,
I am looking for a short product description i.e. <li>text1</li> <li>text2</li>at the category page.

I know that I can enable "Display product Description" but then there is not html-code (i.e. <li>) possible.

The final result at the category should look like:
Product1
<li>text1</li>
<li>text2</li>

Price
Button (Add to cart)

Is there any possibility for such layout or any Workaround?

I know some may not like this approach but what I would do is add another field to your products. You can either browse the forums for instructions on how to do it OR you can use the numinix product field mod. Then you would just edit the product_listing.php code to show the new field. Why I would do it this way is that you can control everything you want displayed. If you were to use the description field you would be forced to use the first so many characters.
