Salemaker still not applying to Quantity Discounts

I upgraded to 1.5.3 for the sole purpose of being able to have the salemaker apply % off to the quantity discounts. I understood that it was one of the fixes. However, I was not able to get it to apply to the quantity discounts. Is there a trick? Thanks.

Deduction 20%
Products Pricerange: 0.00 - 0.00
If a Product is a Special:
Ignore SaleCondition - No Sale Applied When Special Exists

Although I get the same results if I pick either:
Ignore Specials Price - Apply to Product Price and Ignore Special
Apply SaleDeduction to Specials Price - Otherwise apply to Price


Products Price Manager Settings:
Discount Qty Applies to Mixed Attributes Yes (though I'm not using attributes)

Discount Type: Actual Price
Discount Priced from Price

Example:
Model No. 1978
Glass Bell Flower Bead Turquoise Opaque
Product Price Info: Price 0.99
Discount 1 Minimum Qty 12, Discount Value 0.44
Discount 2 Minimum Qty 24, Discount Value 0.29

Salemaker only supports the base price and doesn't appear to support the price returned from a quantity discount. Furthermore, a quantity discount price appears to take precedence over a sale price.

Customizations to functions_prices.php would be needed to modify the quantity discount price to also be adjusted by the sale amount.

When you add 12 to the cart, what do you expect the unit price and total price to be, with the SaleMaker 20% sale?

When you add 24 to the cart, what do you expect the unit price and total price to be, with the SaleMaker 20% sale?

Is this fixed with newer versions? Every price should be adjusted by 20% with sale maker not just QTY of 1.

I doubt that any mod that's ten years old would be relevant unless you are in a version still using PHP 5.6 or earlier.

If you are wanting to update ALL active products' prices by 20%, you can always BACKUP THE DATABASE and then run:

UPDATE products
SET products_price = products_price * 1.2
WHERE products_status = 1;
