Stock by Attributes +Edit Orders + Super Orders

G'day Folks,

I don't know if anyone else here uses this combo of module (as per thread title) but I've managed to get them to all play quite nicely together, with one exception.

When attributed stock products are added to an order via the edit_orders/super_orders module only the parent stock counts are adjusted, not the stock with attributes. The only way I've found to keep the SBA quantities correct is by manually adjusting them after using the editor.

Is this abnormal behaviour caused by a mistake I've made when merging the various files, or is it simply that Edit_orders isn't 'aware' of the Stock by Attributes stock?

If it's normal behaviour has anyone got any ideas how to best resolve the problem. I'm having a heck of a time following the code.

You'll need to add the SBA code in to Edit Orders.

The SBA code is relatively simple.

The edit orders code not quite so simple.

I was just noodling on this. It looks like the logic from includes/classes/observers/class.products_with_attributes_stock.php needs to be added to the edit orders process where new items are created.

There are commercial alternatives to SBA that do inter-operate well with Edit Orders; maintaining stock levels and the like.
