want to show discounted rate in the first page of the shopping cart

I put some products into the shopping cart.
But the discounted rate is showing in the final page of the shopping cart only.
Not the first page of the shopping cart.
Can anybody tell me how to set the discounted rate show in the first page of the shopping cart ??
That's will attract the buyer to buy more if they can see the discounted rate immediately .
instead of showing in the last page(confirm to pay) of shopping cart.
I'm using Avonlee_Contempo template with zencart v1.5.1 .

This needs to be hard coded in to use the discount module on the shopping cart page.

Not a direct fix, but more of a method. If know where the desired functionality is provided, then might be able to pull equivalent code to place as desired. So would look at the template, module, and function files associated with the final page and duplicate the actions on the first. There are some functions that will return the price you are looking for. While the most recent version of ZC isn't specifically identified, towards the bottom of http://www.zen-cart.com/docs is a link to code explanations to obtain/find the function(s) providing the result(s) you are looking for.

If by first page you mean the page seen when first entering your secret uri, that page is typically a define page that can be edited under the tools section of the admin panel. Look for main_page. If some other "first" page, it would help to have more information.
