question about installing Admin Keepalive Timer Addon

Could someone please tell me what files and folders go where. I certainly don't want to mess anything up but I really need this addon because it has become so frustrating to be working on my website well over 15 minutes and then find that all of the work has vanished and have to start all over again. It would be better if you could just take a look at the Admin addons and possibly download it to help out here rather than try explain where everything that is in the download. I appreciate any help.

Should be just a matter of uploading the 'includes' folder and the keepalive.php file in the YOUR_ADMIN folder in the mod to your admin folder.

Under the Keep_Alive_Timer folder there is a docs folder, then another Keep_Alive_Timer folder under that, then under that is a css, then images, then js folder. I'm sure I am making this more complicated as usual but, as I said, I'm gun shy.

Which version of ZC are you using?

There are 2 different versions of KeepAlive. The Numinix version is guaranteed to cause problems if installed into ZC v1.5.3

Version 0.3beta is the functional version for zencart v1.5.3 and the instructions are pretty straight forward.

Copy files as appropriate and
Edit the /RENAMED_ADMIN/includes/header.php file by adding the one line to the end of the file

I'm using 1.5.1. I follow you up until (Edit the /RENAMED_ADMIN/includes/header.php file by adding the one line to the end of the file)

What I see in the includes folder is the following:
auto_loaders folder
init_includes folder
javascript folder
keepalive_module

Now you see why I am gun shy. In the readme file it directs you to the numinix site. I placed a support ticket and received no response. Thanks for your help here.

The numinix version for v1.5.1 should just drop into place without needing any edits as stevesh indicated.

I just wanted to make sure you were not going to use the numinix version in zc v1.5.3. Sorry to have added to the confusion.

Upload all files in this package while maintaining the directory structure (rename YOUR_ADMIN to your custom admin folder name)

Remember, Backup is your friend.

I always create a backup just prior to making any edit because should something go wrong, you can restore things to the point just prior to your edit. That has saved me on several occasions.

So just upload the whole thing to My admin file? And that's IT? I do understand what YOUR_ADMIN means but it doesn't make a lot of sense that everything goes into that file???
