    Default Installing client site on MAMP for testing and upgrade

    I have a client who is currently using 1.50.

    I'm trying to install a version of it on my iMac (Mavericks) using MAMP. I have MAMP using port 80 and if I go to http://localhost/test.html I am able to view that file in my browser.

    I was able to set up the database and I made changes to the 2 configuration files. But Zen Cart starts up with the Hello page.

    I then tried copying the zc_install folder for 1.50 and went through the update process. It was able to access the database, so I know that part is configured ok.

    Here then are the applicable lines from my configure.php file:

    define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://localhost');
    define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://localhost');
    define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/');
    define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/');
    define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/WD Raid/Web Design/Clients/www.example.com/public_html');

    I'm not sure if that last one is correct or not. The files are on an external drive called "WD Raid".

    Are those all correct?

    On a Mac, you probably need to prefix it with /Volumes/

    But, an even better approach is: ... Did you actually run zc_install to INSTALL Zen Cart? ie: to let it build the configure.php file content relevant to your MAMP setup?

    If not, do that first.

    Then import the database and run zc_install again to do any relevant database upgrades.

    I needed to start the DIR_FS_CATALOG path with /Volumes. That fixed it. Thanks!
