    Default Can't install

I've successfully installed ZC multiple times in the past several years, but this install has me baffled.
Before I proceed, I will say that even though I run a WHM, I am not as knowledgeable as a lot of you are ~ I just know some basic things to get me by with a half dozen websites I own.
Ok, so my server has been @ GoDaddy for about 3 years now. I've never had a problem with a ZC install until now. Here some stats:

    ZC v1.5.4
    PHP version 5.4.36
    Mysql version 5.6.22

During setup, on the System Prerequisites page, my red X is MySQL Support = OFF

Is there something I need to tweak on my server for this?

Thanks in advance for any help.

That means your server's PHP configuration does NOT have the "mysqli" feature enabled.

Since ZC v1.5.2 all MySQL support uses the mysqli_xxxxxxx (note the "i") functions instead of the old obsolete mysql_xxxxx functions.

You will need to have your hosting company reconfigure PHP to use the modern mysqli features ... which are the default since PHP 5.3

The old mysql_xxxxx functions will no longer work if the server is upgraded to PHP 5.5.0 or higher ... and PHP 5.6.5 is the newest version as of today.

Thank you for your reply. I spoke to GoDaddy. They explained that I could upgrade MySql but warned that it could effect other websites that might be relying on MySql. I currently have 2 websites running on ZC v1.5.1
Is v1.5.1 compatible with upgraded MySql?

If they're sticking with an old PHP version, they can still "enable" the mysqli capability and still keep the old mysql bit. They do co-exist on hundreds of thousands of live websites today.
