Can't Add New Product and New Category

i lost the the admin ability to delete or add item/product in the website.
for example if i want to add new product,for unknown reason the product does appear in the website but its not appear in the admin panel. because of that i cant delete or remove the new added product.how to regain back the admin control.any advise.

Please answer some more of the questions/tips provided in the posting tips that appear just above the text box area when you select reply of this message. Ie, how did you upgrade to this version? Source of those upgrade files, php version, ability to see/edit other product, are you able to add a product in a different category and see what you expect, etc...
