How to move banner closer to footer or insert image on top of footer

Hi,

I am trying to insert an image directly on top of the footer menu box so it looks as if it is in the footer menu box (I know the colour doesn't match, it's just a mock up)

I have created a banner of the image I would like to move... but it is too high up and doesn't run the full width of the footer menu.

Any help would be hugely appreciated

I have worked this out, My brain wasn't switched on this morning.

For reference to others... The solution was to edit the tpl_footer.php and insert a link to the image required
