Hi Anne, you should probably adjust your documentation or the slide show image as your stock scrolling image say's "Manage Slide Show Via The Admin" which doesnt look to be the case as you mentioned I have to effectively edit, configure the flexslider jscript 2.1 unless I'm mistaken.

A slider that can be configured fully from admin would personally be much more convenient and preferable than having to ftp and modify a file with changes, especially to a basic simple user as myself and many others trying zen cart and your superb template for the first time.

Keep in mind that this is a FREE template package. Features are added as my time allows.

You can indeed manage all aspects of adding images, banner titles, banner links, whether the links open in a new window, etc. from the admin banner manager. No changes to the slide or documentation are necessary.

I cant seem to to switch on the languages and currencies sideboxes under Layout Boxes Controller using this template so maybe a bug? Works fine with other templates.

This is not a bug in the template. I turned these boxes on in the demo here:

I apologise if my question was misconstrued, I was not trying to cause offence, I mentioned "maybe a bug"
Just posting questions and possibly bugs in a support forum to help you, myself and others.

Unfortunately I cant see it on your page anywhere, I've tried viewing your demo site link you provided on my pc laptop, iphone, ipad.
Can anyone else confirm its working correctly or see it on the link so I can rule it out as a issue or confirm its a local isolated issue with my site?

Btw I followed zen carts documentation and yours to enable it.

That would explain why I couldnt find it as it's pretty standard to change language and currency on the main opening page. Is that a limititation of the template or something you plan to fix in the future?

Btw, the picture Carousel seems to break when you enable SSL and view the site under HTTPS.

If you want the sideboxes to show on the main page then you can remove the code that is hiding the left hand column in the tpl_main_page.php file. Or you can install the languages and currencies in the header plugin.
