Tip: after upgrading diamond with question mark in description.

Hi

Just thought I'd pass on this tip, after upgrading from 1.39 to 1.54 I had to split the database to upload to another database. I noticed in the product desription there was a black diamond with a question mark every so often, apparently, reading many forums this is an encoding error, after trying many suggestions the one that worked for me was to run this sql query

UPDATE products_description SET products_description = REPLACE(products_description, Char(160), ' ');

@mike14017, did you try setting the DB_CHARSET in the configure.php files to the original value of the encoding (say, 'iso-8859-1' ?)

@mc12345678 I didn't realise there was a mod, I did search but got nothing.
