Attribute Image in Shopping Cart - How?

Hello Everyone! I have a product that comes in multiple colors. The attributes show a small picture of the product in each color (not color swatches but actual photos of the product in that color).

When someone selects the attribute (colors) they want and puts the product in the shopping cart, the main product image is shown, which is not likely to be the color they selected (there are over 40 colors).

I have looked for how to add images to the attribute in the shopping cart but cannot find a workable solution.

This is very confusing to the customer who, for example, knows they put a purple product in the shopping cart but the picture is showing green.

Can you help me with a snippet of code that will make the selected attribute image show in the shopping cart? It would need to show the attribute image for each color they buy, so if someone buys three of the product - one in red, one in green and one in yellow - each attribute listed in the shopping cart should have the appropriate photo next to it in the shopping cart.

I'm hoping it is something as simple as a snippet of code to be inserted on the shopping cart page, or that's it's something someone can give me instructions for doing.

Here is what I did:

• Go to /includes/templates/YOUR-TEMPLATE-NAME/css/stylesheet.css
• Use the search feature to find “popupShippingEstimator”
• Add “background-image: none;”

Worked perfectly, plus it removed the background image from all the popups (because all of them were listed on the same row as "popupShippingEstimator", so the instruction I added effected them all).
