    Default Pinterest Save Button

    Hi All,

    The pinterest addon does not work for me, per pinterest developers, I need to add the script and button link below to my website. Where should I add these codes?

    'First, make sure you’ve included the pinit.js script on your page. Remember, you only need to include this once per page.'

    <script
    type="text/javascript"
    async defer
    src="//assets.pinterest.com/js/pinit.js"
    ></script>

    'To add a Save button to your page, insert this code where you want your button to go.'

    <a href="https://www.pinterest.com/pin/create/button/" data-pin-do="buttonBookmark">
    </a>

    Thanks!
    Gina

    The button should appear for all product images on all pages.

    It's not a plugin, it's just the two codes that pinterest gives you to add to your website. So your customers can save your products to their pinterest page.

    Thanks!

    Right, and it's not that easy. You said initially that "The pinterest addon does not work for me ...", that's why I asked which plugin (aka addon) you tried.

    Gotcha, I had pinterest.com Pin It Button addon for one of my sites but I started having problems with it. I tried installing it into my new website but the pins weren't showing up, I may have made a mistake uploading it.

    I downloaded the Numinix Pinterest Pin It Button plugin (https://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1480), v1.2.4. Is that the one you tried?

    If so, did you get the admin portion successfully installed? If you did, you'll see a new Configuration menu (Pinterest Pin It Button Configuration).

    Yep, that is the one I installed and it told me it was installed successfully, I turned it on in the configuration menu. The pins weren't showing for my products. I installed it on a website with 1.5.4 and one with 1.5.5f. I guess I should try again and make sure every file is uploaded correctly. I was hoping I could just add the two codes pinterest provided

    The plugin has a required edit to your current template's /templates/tpl_product_info_display.php script, did you do that?
