Can't Remove a Category

I am a beginner, and did search the forum for my problem before posting.

I set up my first category called music. Then I added rock, country, and other categories under music. I decided to delete rock but it keep coming back. I even deleted the first category, music, and started over. Rock still returns.

My zencart was recently installed for me by godaddy. Database: MySQL 5.5.41-cll-lve. No plugins or addons. This is a b

I assume you have fixed this? as I don't see a category called Rock

I do see a category called Country/Country Rock, which has wrapped over two lines in the categories box
