red flag How to Replace Default Plain Text Editor

    Hi,
By default there is only one editor which is very ordinary, I don't think now a days only plain text editing is enough.
Please guide how to add any other editor, which directly supports HTML or rich text.

    Thanks

Look for a dropdown that says "Text Editor" in the top of your admin below the gray menu bar, and click it to change the value to "CKEditor".

    Under
    Admin > Configuration >HTML Editor
    CKEditor is selected

    Under
Admin >Tools > Define Page Editor
Drop Down Menu has CKEditor selected

This was done before I posted in the thread for help.

If you have a very old version of the plugin installed, you'll need to updated it because the very very old version of it relied on a google javascript thing that is no longer available since last month.
