    Default Google 'bug' comes calling

    Hello all,

I do not know if this is the correct forum to post this question/topic but I thought I would start here.

Recently Google sent one of their little bug-bots to crawl my site and I received a report stating that I have some issues that are unfriendly to mobile devices. I have cleaned up some of them but I have 2 remaining that I frankly don't know how to address and was hoping for some help/insight from the forum.

    Those issues are:

    1. Touch elements too close.
    2. Small font size.

Is there a way to fix those?

Thanks for any feedback you can offer.

    MM

OK after digging around I found out how to change font sizes.....stylesheet.css.

I still don't know how to make spacing for the touch elements..... I'm thinking this must be in the categories box....maybe more space between the different categories would make them easier to touch with my fat fingers without touching more than 1 category at a time.....

Is there a way to adjust the list of categories and put space between them?

    Thanks....

You might look at the 'responsive' templates in the Plugins section for ideas.

Well....I have a theme template so my options for another template are pretty much non-existant.....I already looked through the templates available on the site.....and am using the only 1 that caught my eye.....it just has some limitations......unfortunately and requires lots of tweaking.

Hard to know without seeing your site, but this seems to work on the Classic green template:

    .category-top {line-height: 2em;}

The details of how all this works still eludes me at times and I can't remember what controls what.....

Just took a peek at the stylesheet and found that the text references are set using percentages (%).....

If I introduce an 'em' type formatting will be a problem?
