2 sites Shared database and images folder

I have a fresh manual install for 2 sites, running ZC 1.5.4, manually installed. Using a responsive template but need to sort some small folder/file issues to get the sites to look the same.

The database was imported successfully from 1.3.9, and updated to 1.5.4 using zc_install. Folder permissions changed and admin folder renamed.

Both sites display all products, and need to locate the existing images. So, I need to point to a shared images folder and need the location of that file.

The sub-domain site needs to send emails to our Botswana office, and the head office site needs to send emails to head office.I need to make some db changes to allow this as this is the only overlap.
