Fresh install of 1.5.4 New Products not showing on main page.

version info from admin tools server info screen (looking for php version, MySQL version, dates of both, timezone for both, etc)
what template are you using? What zen cart version was that template designed for?

No customized template, just modified the classic template and put the files in a renamed folder. ( if that makes sense)

You've got all the "Date Added" settings turned off, so none of your products are displaying the actual date when they were added to your database ... which makes it harder to diagnose whether your products are actually "not new".
So, that begs the question: when was the last product added, via the admin, to your store? Which product? which category?

Two questions:

1. In your first post you said "new products listing is set to 0". Is that still true?
I'm assuming it's this one you're referring to. Is that correct?
Admin->Maximum Values->New Product Listing - Limited to ...

New Product Listing - Limited to ...Limit the New Product Listing to
0= All Products
1= Current Month
7= 7 Days
14= 14 Days
30= 30 Days
60= 60 Days
90= 90 Days
120= 120 Days

2. What about Admin->Maximum Values->New Products Module? That should NOT be 0. It's usually something like 9, because it determines how many actual results to display.

Thank you so much for your help.

I had the new product listing limited to set to "0".

I also had the new products module set to "0", when I changed it to 9 they reappeared.

I have been looking and searching Google trying to find the answer. Thank you again.
