Attribute file not being sent as an attachment with order

Site does custom products. The customer can choose from a list of stock images by entering the name of the image in a text box. Or, they can upload their own custom image. That part is working fine. After selecting their image, and adding the item to cart, it produces the success message just as it should. It also loads the image, (renamed, of course), to the images/uploads folder. However, no image arrives with the order. Any ideas what could be causing the problem? Thanks.

Is this a change in how it previously worked? Ie, worked before, but now it doesn't?

If so, what PHP version? Might need to upgrade. As to actual operation, seems like if the link to the product is provided, then need to be sure that the uploads directory supports retrieval from the net (permissions), otherwise, not yet familiar with the process that would attach the actual image following the above process/setup. Seems like there has been some custom coding implemented and that the code does not attach the image like is expected from the above discussion.

I just wanted to confirm that what RescoCCC is seeing is "stock" Zen Cart behavior. The uploaded image has never been included as an attachment with the order; you've got to either check (via FTP) the files in your store's /uploads folder or install the plugin that allows you to view file uploads (its name escapes me at the moment).

Thanks, guys. After searching around everywhere, it dawned on me that it doesn't send the attachment. I've set the client up with FTP and showed them how to go grab the files. They're happy with that.
