    See module settings

Please note I did not change/touch these settings (nor did I have to) before or after the upgrade. EVERY order comes in with the status set to "Pending". (should be "Processing")

Time to ask the DOOOH question,
Did you uninstall and re-install the Mod to set any changes in the new files

Not until it was reported that there was an issue.. I then uninstalled and then re-installed the payment module.. No change..

Sooooo.. hate to bump this post, but I am PLUM out of options to try.. replacing the module with a fresh copy didn't work, neither did uninstalling and re-installing..

What else could be the issue here??

What value is returned when you search for MODULE_PAYMENT_AUTHORIZENET_AIM_ORDER_STATUS_ID using the admin's Tools->Developers Tool Kit (enter that value in the very top search area)?

What happens if you change the

    Authorization Type

    From: Authorize

    To: Authorize + Capture

That is the only way that I was able to duplicate what you are seeing.

Thank you.. and doh to me..

Honestly I have SO FEW clients using Authorize.net that I couldn't see it.. (most use PayPal Payflow or PayPal Payments Pro, or PayPal Express) I just KNEW that nothing had changed with this module so I had not touched it in the upgrade.. Was driving me crazy!! So again.. thanks..

Okay.. So I'm back now that the client has explained WHY she thought this was broken..

Apparently she wants this configured for "Capture" BUT she wants the order status to be set to "Processing" anyway.. She will then Authorize the order and set the status to Shipped.. Does anyone know what I need to modify to support this workflow??

If the store does not have paid "downloadable content", the following should work. If the store does include "downloadable content", one may need to change some additional settings accordingly (after the following code change).

Edit the class constructor in "includes/modules/payment/authorizenet_aim.php" (change is in red):
    Code:
// Reset order status to pending if capture pending:
        //if (MODULE_PAYMENT_AUTHORIZENET_AIM_AUTHORIZATION_TYPE == 'Authorize') $this->order_status = 1;

NOTE: This post by DrByte mentions this line (and the thread includes a brief discussion around this line of code).
