Manufacturers - 3 work; 3 do not filter

I have verified that the manufacturers are in the manufacturers' table; the manufacturer's ID is properly coded in the product table.

ALL of the manufacturers' names populate in the drop down, which indicates that some corner of the product is seeing that there is product linked to the manufacturer.

However, when one filters by manufacturer, only three of the manufacturers work properly. Any ideas or settings that are sideways?

A link to the site so we can see it happening would help a lot, are there any errors being thrown in to the /logs folder

When you say only 3 work and 3 don't, what exactly is happening,
- is it bringing up incorrect products
- is it giving a blank page
- is it giving an error message
- is it giving a message of any sort?

Have you confirmed that all 3 manufacturers actually have active products?
I'm not sure if it would effect this, but there isn't any weird puctuation in the manufacturers names?

The only log errors that I'm seeing is for the odd missing .jpg or similar. Nothing meaty. No PHP errors, for example.

Three manufacturers return results, three manufacturers display, "There are no products to list in this category." When I flip them over to all categories, same error. There are hundreds of items that are simply not appearing. The manufacturer set up appears to be identical. The settings for the items look identical between the items that don't appear vs. those that do. I have deleted the values in the Manufacturers table and reloaded them. Nothing that usually works is working.

Good guess, but there are no strange punctuations like ' or " in the names.

Generally, there aren't issues of this kind with Anne's templates, but it wouldn't hurt to switch temporarily back to the Classic template to rule it out. I'd also be inclined to temporarily activate the Manufacturers sidebox to see how that behaves.

Also,what about verifying entry in the manufacturers_info table? Does it happen that the "3" that work are in there and the "3" that are not well, are not?

Sorry, there are actually seven present. One does not have any product attached.
