more information for adding products

i need to know if there is any contributions to make more information on the admin side adding products so that way my customers can sort or search for things a little bit easier,

i have a section for magic cards

these cards have a few different variables. there are 5 different colors and about 20 different sets to chose from, and so on and so forth, is there any way that i can have these options in the admin module somewhere that once i am adding a product it will ask me like what color the card is and what set it is from and the rarity of the card so on and so forth

Have you looked at "Stock by attributes" 3rd party addon??

I am sure that it will not do all that you outlined but it may suffice
