    Default "Fancy" Advanced Search Question

    Quite a long time ago, someone on this forum showed me how to get these cool search results, when a product that I had in my store was searched.

    As an example, I typed Calvin Klein in the search box and it brought up this page. Please note how the heading reads (Your Search Results For "calvin klein"):

    http://www.designerperfumesnob.com/i...+klein&x=0&y=0

    I can't seem to find that code or understand where I would need to go to recreate this for my new v1.54/responsive template that is underway.

    This is so much better looking than just returning with result: Advanced Search

    How can I get this result again?

    Thanks!

    Suggest that you compare your search based files to stock files to see what has been changed
    If you have followed the overrides protocol this should be easy

    I have found this:

    <?php
    define('HEADING_TITLE_START', 'Your Search Results For<font color="#39d4d4"> "'); define('HEADING_TITLE_END', '"</font>'); ?>

    And this:

    define('HEADING_TITLE', 'Your Search Results For<font color="#39d4d4">
    </font>');

    and while I am now able to get a little more in the heading:

    http://storetest.designerperfumesnob...eyword=lancome

    ...it doesn't complete the search by adding the search term to the result.

    This is from the advanced_search_results.php for the live store still using 1.38h:

    <?php
    define('HEADING_TITLE_START', 'Your Search Results For<font color="#39d4d4"> "'); define('HEADING_TITLE_END', '"</font>'); ?>

    http://www.designerperfumesnob.com/i...ncome&x=6&y=17

    This is from advanced_search_results.php for the test store:

    define('HEADING_TITLE', 'Your Search Results For<font color="#39d4d4">
    </font>');

    http://storetest.designerperfumesnob...eyword=lancome

    I cannot locate anything else.

    Thanks!

    This is from the advanced_search_results.php
    That file is mostly a language file and not a process file

    You might check and compare these especially if you have a template override file for any of them
    includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_advanced_search_result_default.php
    includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_advanced_search_default.php
    Also look at these and compare
    includes/modules/pages/advanced_search/header_php.php
    includes/modules/pages/advanced_search_result/header_php.php

    With your help I was able to identify the files I needed. Thank you for saving me all of the time I might have spent chasing this down. Now I can get on with the business of going live with the new responsive template.

    Thank you again!

    I never post here lightly. This is always considered help of last resort. Just because I have many posts doesn't mean I can always figure things out. From time to time I'd like to believe I can post here with something that stumps me and receive help from those that understand this better. Many of the tweaks I made to my original template occurred years ago and I have never had to relate to them. I don't think along the lines of language file vs. process file.

    I hope this forum can indulge me when I turn to those that think more like a coder than I do. It's very possible that someone reading a thread I start might find the topic interesting and follow along. In this case, the search results that I was seeking is a very nice addition to anyone with an ecommerce site. I think it makes the visitor feel special because the search results were returned with their specific need. That can never be a bad thing to share with other Zen Cart users.
