Add products to front page of website...

Hello,
I am currently using estorenow template and have a scrolling banner at the top.
I would like to have under this, a grid of products. I know you can go to index listing but I want to be able to change them as I want and I do not want the title above it that says new products for June etc.
I would just like to put products under the banner that i can change in 4 columns.
Is there a way to do this?

You could define a set of products as "Featured" and display the featured products on your home page. If you don't like the phrase "Featured Products", you can change that in your template's override of the primary language file.

Thanks, this is pretty much what i was looking for. Is there a way to change the wording on the title that says featured product or to remove it completely?

You'll need to edit your template's override of the primary language file, e.g. english.php. In the instructions that follow, you'll replace YOUR_TEMPLATE with the directory name of your active template.

If the file /includes/languages/YOUR_TEMPLATE/english.php exists, you'll edit that file. Otherwise, you'll create the directory /includes/languages/YOUR_TEMPLATE and copy the current /includes/languages/english.php file to that new directory and then edit that file.

You'll change the following line, changing only the words between the two single-quotes:

define('TABLE_HEADING_FEATURED_PRODUCTS','Featured Products');
