    Default PayPal WPP && Cardinal

    clean Zen Install
    no mods

Paypal Express installled and working fine ( after a change suggested by DR Byte in https://www.zen-cart.com/showthread....n-you-selected)

PaypalWPP working fine with no Cardinal Credentials added to it.

As soon as I add Cardinal Credentials I get problems. From Checkout Confirmation I am returned to Checkout Payment with 'We were not able to process your order. Please select an alternate payment method, or contact the store owner for assistance.'

I am pretty sure that the cardinal credentials are right because in their control panel I can see the request. For instance:

Further to this I am getting the following pop-up intermittently:

    Name: Selection_073.png
Views: 175
Size: 7.5 KB

Which occurs on submitting the form on Checkout Payment.

OK, I am now on my third clean install and continue to get this issue.

If someone could explain to me exactly what the flow should be through the checkout process then that would be a help. I have never seen it actually work so it is hard to interpret what it is actually meant to do. When does the 3d popup appear and how is that information carried through the checkout procedure?

    Hopefully ....

What version of PHP is being run for the site? Is the Zen Cart installation in the site-root or in a sub-directory?

Hmm, I'm remembering some postings a couple of months ago about someone having an issue with Authorize.net when a v1.5.4 Zen Cart is installed in a sub-directory -- also having some 'interference' with the ajax.php module. Could be related.

Thanks for that. It was swguy so have asked if he had an answer. We will see.

Otherwise I think I will be looking at the javascript tomorrow. Not knowing what it is meant to do as far as flow through the checkout doesn't help me. I wouldn't normally use PP pro so have never seen this before.

Yes, and we have success by turning of the ajax checkout. So, it looks like the issue is with the ajax calls when the installation is in a subdirectory.

Scott had some initial ideas about that and the way that the URLs are used in the JS which I will have a look at tomorrow.

    So far:

The ajax calls on checkout_payment seem to be returning good data. But ...

    https://www.zen-cart.com/showthread....42#post1289842

I don't think that that is the root of the problem because I still get a failure with that solved.

    More later ...
