Store down for maintenance

I can't login at all to zen cart to access my admin page. When I try it says store down for maintenance, which i never did.

Other than the issue are having welcome to Zen Cart.

In posting, the information provided by the poster is all that we have available from which to provide answers. The more information provided, the easier it is for someone to answer and for history sake the easier for someone having the same issue to evaluate if the issue and solution is the same.

To help with this, the ZC team has identified some information/questions when provided/answered will lead off to agood start. This set of information is provided in the posting tips that appear above the message entry box when posting. (Select reply or reply with quote and scroll up.)

That said, I don't recall that the default ZC provides that type of response when/if the store is placed in maintenance mode. So definitely need to address the information described above.

From where(url) are you attempting this??

You should be logging into your ZenCart admin from something similar to this - replacing the "your" with actual domain info

your_domain.com/your_secret_admin/

I closed my shop down with bigcommerce on the 27th, pointed the dns server to just host. All as fine until this morning when i tried to login to zen cart and i received the message this store is down for maintenance. I typed my shops url in the address bar and it says the same thing.

I'm guessing (and agreeing with kobra's poking) that the answer to the above is: No! The maintenance-mode setting affects only the store-side of Zen Cart, not the admin.
