How to add things to a sale?

I have a price but for special events I would like to have certain percent off sale.

It's circled in black. I need to know how to set sales like this so if anyone knows please drop a comment.

Hello. Are you asking how to set up a sale? In your admin, go to catalog, then salemaker. This lets you set up sales by category. Or use specials to add a discount to one item at a time. Both allow you to input a percent by putting the % sign after the number.

Both also allow you to specify a begin date and an end date.

I couldn't see your link so if this wasn't what you are asking please be more specific.
