404 error after migrating

Hi,

I am trying to migrate a Zen cart installation from one server to another. I have done this succesfully in the past but for some reason this is causing some headaches! Everything seems to have gone across ok and it all loads up fine but the problems start when I try to click on a category or go to the renamed admin folder.

If I try to click on a category it just throws up a 404 error and if I try to go to the admin folder it redirects me to /login.php which also has an error.

Anybody able to shed any light on this? I have been at it for about 4 hours now and I am getting mildly frustrated!

Hi there. I'm sure if you supply more information someone could help. For example what version you are running, how you moved the files , what is your url, etc. the tips above give some more info. It could be a lot of things. What error message are you getting when you try to log into your admin?

How do the links that appear from the main page compare to what is expected?

More than likely there is an issue with the contents of the applicable includes/configure.php or with DNS in locating the new location of the site (assuming the old location was disabled)
