    Yes that is caused by the "ghost" links I was referring to, and I really am puzzled where they are generated.

    At this point what I can suggest is if perhaps you could list what changes you've done, maybe someone will spot the culprit.

    I am glad that I am not seeing ghosts - looked at this just before and puzzled as well. There must have been a change (or changes) made in another template file. You may want to compare your template files to the original Apple Zen template files. That's about all I can suggest.

    Hi Derek,

    I put the folder you sent me in the original apple_zen package, and loaded it in a local test install, and it works fine

    I'd say the culprit is either in one of the other files - have you made any changes to them? - or other files not apple_zen related, maybe a plugin you installed, or some other change you made?

    I don't know the amount of customization you performed, but if it's not much I'd suggest restarting with a fresh template package.

    Maybe you could make a copy of the files you changed, and after installing a fresh package add hose files one by one till it reproduces the error ... just a thought, I don't know your workflow, and procedures.

    Let us updated on the thread on zen cart forum.

    I and others will do what we can to help.

    Regards

    Farzin

    Hi

    Would it be possible to have another version of the Apple Zen template eg.Apple_Zen2 and separately install this and try to see if the problem still persists?
    Would doing this affect anything else?

    Sorry if I seem to be a bit naive!!!!!

    It shouldn't, unless you have customized files that are overriden by it, i.e. pages/specials/main_template_vars.php

    I mailed you the packages, apple_zen_1 with drop-down apple_zen_2 without drop-down.

    I am using the excellent Apple_Zen template and www.baitworks.co.uk is fine using internet explorer 8
    However when I use firefox 38.0.5 the home menu tab slips down off the menu bar - this may be the case with other browsers

    Please can anyone suggest a fix?"
    If you do not want a drop down on the home link you should replace:

    Code:
    <li class="submenu"><a href="<?php echo zen_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT); ?>"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_CATALOG; ?></a>
    <ul class="level2">

    </ul>
    </li>
    with this:

    Code:
     <li><a href="<?php echo zen_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT); ?>"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_CATALOG; ?></a></li>
    You may also want to add overflow:hidden; to the #dropMenuWrapper in your stylesheet.css file around line 81.

    Thanks,

    Anne

    thanks everyone for your help - in particular Farzin who sent me a new modified Apple_Zen_2 template which I uploaded
    the home section on www.baitworks.co.uk is now aligned
    I must have introduced the error when I was editing the original Apple_Zen template
    It looks ok on Firefox and IE, I presume it's ok on other browsers

    Many thanks once again
