Quantity Discounts - the actual discount not displayed in order confirmation email

Hiya

Not sure if possible - but we use the Quantity Discounts module (ie buy 6+ and get 20% off) - however when you purchase and go through the checkout process and also the order confirmation email /in voice etc - nowhere does it state that you have got a discount - for example I get this

11 x Test Product (TEST) = £420.75
------------------------------------------------------
Sub-Total: £420.75
Shipping: £0.00
testing vat rate + Sales Tax: £70.13
Total: £420.75

but the singular price is £45.00 each which if you bought 11 you would pay £495.00 but due to this discount you are paying £38.25 each...

However nowhere is this highlighted OTHER than the text on the product page itself - are we able to show something (basically if the qty discount changes people won't know they got a discount 6 months later when they look at their email confirmation... and think price has gone up or something)

Does that make sense?

It might be that I use SWGUY module which I know offers Qty Discounts and its an order total module? - but thought that I would ask the question first - as seems that it probably should be included somehow???

You must be using the built-in Quantity Discounting feature, which is accessed under admin->catalog->products price manager; it does not break out the discount. Mine *does* break out the discount. (Mine is shown under admin->modules->order totals)

Hi swguy - yes I know yours does break out the difference :) which is why I will probably use yours instead - I just thought that the original would have also :) no matter thanks for letting me know :)

just an update - I did just use thatsoftwareguys table discount and preview discount - which as usual from him works perfectly straight out of the box!! THANKS
