Zone Rate Clone Issue

Does anyone have a fix for this Zone rate Clone https://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=977

It all works fine except,

When the purchaser chooses one of the shipping zone options other than the standard (zone) rate it doesn't realize it and charges the standard zone rate on the "payment information" page, it must be a simple fix but I can seem to find what it is, I see plenty of threads with others asking the same question.

As you can see in the picture below, I have chosen Express post $20.00 and clicked continue



It then goes to payment information page and show the original postage optoin of $16.00 instead of the chosen express postage of $20.00




Would be good to get this mod cleaned up and fixed

I don't know if it helps but I just added an updated Zone Rate Clone to:
https://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=977

that works with Zen Cart v1.5.0 - v1.5.4 at:
https://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=977

I don't know if this will correct your issues, but I have it working correctly on a Zen Cart v1.5.0 site ... you might try it and see if it resolves the problems that you are having ...

NOTE: the Zone Rate cloned files are different from the ones that you used so you might save your settings then uninstall your existing cloned shipping modules and delete them from the server in the directories:
/includes/modules/shipping
/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping

Also, after these are setup, if you could post the settings for each of the shipping modules that you see in the right hand panel, that would be a help ...

Hi,

I have a small problem with this module. I have 2 types of shipping rates - 1 is expedited courier and 2 is regular mail.
Now The problem is that I do not want to show the regular mail shipping to the customers in my country i.e. India. Regular mail shipping should be shown only to the international customers.
Can you please give me the code which has to be changed? I am not a professional, so i do not have much knowledge about this.

What shipping modules do you want for what Zones?

What version Zen Cart are you using?

I am using zencart version 1.5.4
I have different zones installed as for different countries, and they are working fine. My question is actually about the shipping methods.

Previously, I had been using only one shipping method: zone rates
But just now I installed the Module Zone Rates clone
and now, I have two shipping methods:
1. Expedited Courier
2. Regular Mail

Now, I want that my customers in india should be able to see only one shipping method i.e. expedited courier.

And the regular mail method should be visible to all other international customers who want delivery outside India.
I mean, I want my customers outside India to see both shipping methods so that they can choose any one as per their requirement.

What code has to be added and in which file so that this situation is possible?

If you edit the Zone Rate clone that you do NOT want for India there is a setting for:

Skip Countries, use a comma separated list of the two character ISO country codes
Disable for the following Countries:

If you enter India's 2 character ISO country code there, does it turn it off for India?
