Hide weight in option values

Can anybody tell me how to Hide weight in option values? I have set ip an option to add 500 which is grams but it shows in the vales as 500lbs

In the Catalog ... Product Type ... hit the EDIT LAYOUT and turn off:

Show Attribute Weight
Display Attribute Weight on Product Info 0= off 1= on
