    Just looked at Admin logs.

    I can see where I enabled one category a few days ago for a 1st sale.
    I can see where I enabled a 2nd category last night for a 2nd sale (but forgot that the category was priced by attributes)
    I can see where I made changes today around 4:30 pm

    I cannot find any admin log entry between those times that enabled the first category mentioned this morning
    I cannot find any admin log entry between this morning and 4:30pm local that enabled the master category
    Looking for log entry for salemaker.php as the page accessed.

    Therefore, must be gremlins toggling through the database randomly checking boxes. It wouldn't be the first time we found an unexplainable checkbox ticked.

    Let's say you have Categories:
    Level 1
    |- Level 2

    and put Level 1 on Sale ... Level 2 is on Sale ...

    Now, say you add:
    Level 1
    |- Level 2
    |- Level 2B

    Level 2B Product may not appear on Sale ... then you edit the Sale on Level 1 ... *poof* Level 2B products are suddenly on Sale ...

    I understand that logic. Trying to put that with what I remember the sequence to be alongside the admin salemaker.php entries while considering the orders and lack of discounting.


    • I just can't make sense of the sequence indicated by log entries when compared to actual invoiced amount.
    • I may chalk it up to slower connection speed to server and scrolling through the salemaker screen could have registered as a checkbox tick that went unnoticed. That does happen quite often when checking/unchecking attribute discounted goldenrod/orange buttons.


    Thanks again for your patience & pointing me in a direction that resolved the issue.
