Upgrade from 1.51 to 1.54, Admin Works OK but store does NOT

Were all of the files used to originally install Zen Cart directly from this site (or from some autoinstaller on the hosting provider)?

When you say upgrade, did you follow the instructions to "rebuild on a new version" or was a different process used? Are you using new configure.php files created by running a "clean" install on the new host (before moving the database and files from the old host)? Or are you using handedited versions of the configure.php files from the old hosting provider?

What 3rd party modules (and the version) are installed? What other modifications have been made to Zen Cart?

What version of PHP do you have enabled in cPanel? What version does the Zen Cart admin report (click on the link labelled "version")?

What are the full contents of both configure.php files (obscure the database details and admin folder if present)? Please do not just paste the contents, use CODE tags around the contents of each file. This makes it much easier to read on the forums and less likely for editor to mangle contents. EX: [CODE]pasted file contents or code[/CODE].

What process was followed to upgrade the site?
How do the files on the server differ from a default install? (Are there files on the server that are not part of a default install? Differences within the files? Are the additonal files and changes within only as a result of plugins added and personalizatons?)

How about the includes/functions/html_output.php file? How does it differ from a ZC 1.5.4 version of the same?

Just a quick update that it is totally working now. . The reason seems funny.

For configure.php, change define('ENABLE_SSL', ‘true’);
to define('ENABLE_SSL', 'true');

Equally "important" is how did it get there? (Don't want the same thing happening on other edits.) What do you use for editing files? (No this question is not directed at frank. :) )

I use notepad. I think it is was just typo when I edited configure.php. It wont happen if I just switch false to true. Thank you all.
