    Default Errors after installing 1.5.4- An Unknown Response null and Add to cart problem

    Hi

    Hired a person to update ZC from 150 to 154 on Windows Server.

    Most things seem to work but have seen 2 problems.

    1. Error An unknown response null:text/html; charset=utf:8::Not Found was received while processing an ajax call. The action you requested could not be completed. No plugins. Happens at login, add to cart and some other places.

    2. Add to Cart sometimes displays a garbage screen. Mostly dark blue, images not found. Then displays the main home page (not zencart). Currently not happening but now getting the above error instead. Yesterday did not get the above error but got the garbage screen.

    I cannot see how that is related. It points to known problems #6 but that does not seem to be related. I search the page for response null and did not get any hits. Perhaps things shifted.

    I think that I will have to redo the cart from scratch since I cannot be sure what was done by the first guy.

    Check using phpmyadmin your database collation it should be utf-8

    Which page did you "search" and not find response null? Why hung up on the words response null? What istheir signifcance to this issue?

    So what *is* the settng for: Customer Approval Status - Authorization Pending that is found in Admin->Configuration->Customer Details when the problem is occurring?

    2. Response null was part of the original error message that I received

    And from your admin screen, if you go to the menu and select Configuration->Customer Details then look at Customer Approval Status - Authorization Pending, what is the value of its setting?
