Free Downloads

I am trying to set up the sytem for downloads and am testing with free samples.

On this setup the customer selects the product and goes through the whole checkout.

Is there a setup to let them automatically grab free downloads without the whole checkout?

Already setup files that showed Valid filename.

No billing is setup yet.

Orders show " Billing and Shipping does not match " even though all customer address is enterd?

Use the freeshipper module
modules > Shipping Modules >
& setup items to be free

If it's a free download and you don't want them to have to go through checkout, then just make it a zip file accessible from your website.

If you just make it a zip link then don't you loose all the category and product info along with grouping and formatting?

??? You said you wanted them to be able to grab it without doing a checkout. If this is what you want, link to a zip. If you need to track downloads by product id, then you have to do it the normal Zen Cart way and have them check out.

OK Thanks.
I found what the problem was.
I checked the Downloads Manager and saw the Option Name was wrong.

Now the Checkout shows the File and Download Now links under the Subscribe to product updates block.
