Create Account - Rewards

Hello All,

does anyone know of any module/plugin whereby I can reward someone that creates an account with a discount coupon?

Perhaps a small banner on the side column that says Create an account with us to receive your 10% discount?

You could create the Discount Coupon that you want to give and once created go to the Configuration ... GV Coupon ... and set the Discount Coupon that they will get with:

New Signup Discount Coupon ID#
Select the coupon

Now when the customer creates an account a Discount Coupon code will be sent to them ...

You could also add a banner to a banner sidebox to make this more obvious that this will happen ...

Thanks for your response, I have just seen how to dfo this and I have no problems in achieving your suggestion.

Can you kindly advise on one more question pls: AM I able to reward / discount coupon for creating a sign up to newsletter as well?

EG: Sign up account and newsletter or Newsletter?

Afraid I do not know enough about stylesheets to tell you what else you might need ...

For giggles and grins, what happens if you temporarily switch to the Classic Template ... does the problem disappear on the shipping estimator?
