Nice Site, how much is custom coding?

Hi,

I came upon a site that uses Zen Cart. For those of you highly experienced with Zen Cart, how much or little of this site is using custom code? The layout and flow are good. Products have option drop downs.

At some point I would like my site to look similar on this site but not if I must write a lot of custom code to do so.
