Product counting unit?

Hi.. I'm introduced to ZC for a week and still strugling with tweak and mod.
My small shop sell liquid and fabric and grains.. How do i add a counting unit after the price?
Example, i want the buyer understand that the price 4.5$ they are looking at the pencil is per box, not per piece.

Without more information about your products
You may be able to accomplish this using attributes

Let me rephrase what I need:
Example my shop sell pencils and pens. For pencil, we sell per box, and for pen we sell per piece.
How do the customer know if the price as in the shopping cart below is per box or piece?

@kobra: yes, it SEEMS pair "Name" and "Value" is what I need.

How do I display as

Even I can add a read only name, and value box, piece, and then apply to each product, then do the mod so that it can appear in the product or shopping cart page as in 2nd example above, it's still a pain as I can't add this attribute when adding new product. I must add it later though Admin/Catalog/Attribute controller right?
Can't it be simpler or I must read more?

You can describe the unit in the product description
As to what you want in your cart displayed - it is difficult to program this difference
