Can I restrict sales of some products to certain countries?

I carry some buttons that can only be sold in the USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico. I want to be able to list them for sale, but I usually ship worldwide, and these are currently the only items I need to restrict.

Is there a way to edit the listings so only customers in those areas can purchase them?

I was really hopeful, but I can't seem to make that plugin work for me.

I configured it correctly, I think, but it made it so ONLY the products in the restricted categories could be sent to the areas I said they could ship to. That is, it won't allow anything else to ship to those same areas.

The only other way to do it seems to be to go through and add all fourteen pages of individual zones to the list of places those restricted items can't be shipped, rather than the three they can be.

Does anyone else have a possible solution? Or am I just not list these items for sale on my site without hours of work?

I have not tested that module on any of the sites I am looking after. Seems though it would need some tweaks to meet your requirements.

The author (mprough) could throw a light onto this. Could not find a support thread either.

Sadly I am not having any luck with this module, can't get it to work when following the instructions to a tee.
