    Default MySql backup with phpMyAdmin

What are the correct settings for backing up the database using the new version of phpMyAdmin?

    I am aware of this:

    https://www.zen-cart.com/content.php?144

but it does not say anything about the new version which has different settings.

Im not sure what version Im using, how do I check that?

I do see that "Using phpMyAdmin v3.4 or higher" has almost same settings, just with slightly different wording and then "Object creation options: - check ALL the boxes in this section, except the "CREATE DATABASE" option." is not on the version Im using.

in my version of phpMyAdmin, you can go to the home by clicking the house on the top left under the phpmyadmin logo and the version information is in a phpmyadmin box on the bottom right of the screen. if you get to the home page and really look at everything ion the page, i am sure you can find the version. mine for example says:

Version information: 4.0.10.7, latest stable version: 4.5.3.1

i see the create database option under the object creation options. are you sure you have a database selected for the backup?

IF you do check the box
Add CREATE DATABASE / USE statement
You will have problems IF you want to import the database into any other test version of zencart. At least you will see an error message.
IF your test database happens to be on the same server, you will overwrite the live database when attempting to import the backup into any other database on that server. You will receive and "Import successful" type of message but the new, test database will be empty and your live database will be all fouled up.
