What to update for the jan. 17, 2016 USPS update?

Hello,
I hope this is OK to ask here.
I have a client that has a site that was set up by someone else. They got the mail about the new APIs and have asked me to address what needs updating.

The USPS module that is being used starts with the following text when the info button is clicked:

"United States Postal Service

You will need to have registered an account with USPS at https://secure.shippingapis.com/registration/ to use this module."

Can someone tell me which module this is and whether it is from the USPS APIs or something that is included with Zen Cart?

Does it need to be updated?

At around midnight January 17, 2016 that USPS module will be updated to the USPS K8 January 17, 2016 module when the USPS Production server should be updated ...

The USPS K8 beta test module is available for testing on the TEST server ONLY at:

Thanks. The reason I asked is I have made custom modifications to the module. These are mods you provided for handling of a special ordering scenario. I will find the forum post, find the information and make the mods once the new version is released.

I loaded the zip to a test site and thought initially it was the plugin test as it threw me an error result that was similar in that it redirected my page somewhere else ... but it was just the language file being the code file ...

Now all is right in the world once more ...
