There is not a ZenCart limit
Your host may have a limit or not
Zen-Venom Get Bitten
Thanks for your reply. Recently, some product listings become blank. All the previously filled details (product name, price, description, quantity, weight...) disappeared except the image link and product attribute. This seems to happen randomly but probably more often lately. Hence I suspected the database is getting too big and randomly deleting product details when new products are added, is that possible?
More than likely and it is hard to tell/discuss properly because there is no information provided about your ZC setup you are using an older version of ZC 1.3.9 or below and your host has upgraded the PHP version. Has anyone tried to edit the product that seems to have randomly disappearing content?
The real question though is what is the setup for the system involved? Please try to answer the questions of the posting tips.
As to dropping information on a "get full" basis, random information loss would not make sense in a design, but instead things like: first in first out, or last in first out, but random information in the middle? Would sound like a poor design... Here you can use this database, but done count on anything in particular remaining in it...
