Default shoppingcart.php file in the root directory

    Hi,

I examined the file structure of my website and found shoppingcart.php file in the root directory. I can't remember if this file has been here earlier.
There is usual shopping_cart.php file in includes\languages\MY_Language location but not sure for the one in the root directory. Should that file be right where is now?

If I type mywebsite.com\shoppingcart.php I can see this message:

    Your Cart
    --------------------------------
    Your shopping cart is empty.

    Thanks

This may have been some sort of debug testing code that you added; however, is not a default file for ZC... Would suggest investigating the content of the code and how it arrived at that location... Also not sure if it is showing/allowing display of everyone's cart or just a particular user's...

Is that part of the AJAX add-to-cart plugin?

You gave me an idea to examine beyond Zencart core files and found shopping.php file in the root directory is a part of ajax plugin for the cart. Now I know it arrived here. But is it safe if this kind of the file exists in the root directory?

The shoppingcart.php file is a part of the AJAX Add to Cart plugin. It's safe, no worries. It uses application_top.php and application_bottom.php files and all the standard Zen Cart functions so it shouldn't cause any problems.

However, I've noticed that most templates on themeforest use it (not sure about other marketplaces) so, just to be on safe side, I'd suggest comparing your file with the file in the original plugin. There may be minor differences (mostly styling), but nothing major.

    Pozdrav!
