Country sort order

Is there any way to change the sort order of the country list?

Such as:

United States
Australia
Bahamas
etc
etc

Not without custom programming. There is currently (as of Zen Cart 1.5.5) no sort_order field within the countries table in the database.

If you go to configuration => customer Details => Create Account Default Country ID and set it to United States, the default country will be Us and is place on top of the list.
