use remote images

Can images at source be used rather than downloading to my site?
I've over 16,000 files at 1,678mb of images filling my 2000mb domain to 75 to 80%. I don't want to reduce my "inventory"?

Check the plugins section... But also consider if the images are hosted remotely, who has control over what is presented to the customer? Also, if you were the one that hosted the product and all of a sudden there was an increase in data usage, how long do you think it would be possible to pull the images from that remote server... Now, if the remote location was something setup for yourself, that's a totally different story, but there is guidance in the downloads section on how to setup a store to have remote access to images.
